Some additional information, I have the most recent version of uTorrent. I haven’t used in in maybe a month, so I’m not sure what happened. I saved links to another folder and that’s when I noticed torrents connecting properly again.

I didn’t change anything, didn’t install any new security programs. I spoke with my isp and asked them outright if they were blocking bittorrent and they said no, they don’t block it at all.

This is what worked for me: 1-Close utorrent 2-Go to the folder search bar and search %AppData% then click roaming.

Edited Septemby peterbuttler The thing is P2P sharing software or Bittorrent clients require specific port forwards because windows Firewall blocks any suspicious activity or ports which it deems potentially harmful. If you are having the same problem i was having it is because the Private tracker website wont allow certain versions of the torrent client itself. In my case 15 was too little and I had to restore it to the original 150, even it 15 worked with previous versions of the program. Am I missing something completely obvious? The weird thing is that, while it worked, the software also looked quite different from what I was used to. I have not had any problems with any other games. I called Sprint and they also said they block nothing, and are blocking nothing. I even opened the port 6881 on router and it’s still not connecting. I’m hoping this sub might have these elusive answers. After disabling peerblock, avast, my router’s firewall, and a few other things, I read this forum thread. At times it doesn’t work and it’s irritating. You will see a small arrow in the right corner on your task bar which face upword. Save all your ongoing downloads, remember all the relevant settings – like download folder -, stop Bittorrent, go to your user’s Application Data folder and remove the settings.
